We have a lot to be thankful for this Memorial Day. We invite you to join us for a wonderful celebration of remembrance for those who’ve fallen in defense of our great nation. Please come and join us!

Lunch begins at noon, and we will be asking everyone to bring something, potluck style so that we can all enjoy a feast. (We might even have some fresh fish from the earlier competition, see below)!

Little Island park features so many great amenities, including a kids’ playground, volleyball sandpit, horseshoes, and much more. It’s always a wonderful time.

VBPH Fishing Tournament

Official Rules:

• The entry fee is $30 per person (plus $8 to gain access to the pier and $3 for parking). Payment can be done online using the button below.

• The location is Little Island Fishing Pier

• Competition is from 6 AM to 11 AM only - Five Hours to prove your fishing skills

• Each fisherman is limited to four rods each. No nets allowed.

• Bring your own tackle and bait.

• Each fisherman will be judged by the total accumulated weight of fish caught

• First Prize – 40% of the collected entry fees

• Second Prize – 25% of the collected entry fees

• Third Prize – 15% of the collected entry fees.

• The final 20% of collected entry fees will be donated to our charity partner, the Gary Sinise Foundation in honor of Memorial Day.
