My grandmother, Mary Saul, affectionately known as GranMary, is approaching the final days of her earthly pilgrimage. She has been a faithful member of VBPH since 2015, and we know that many of you have made precious ties with her over the last seven years.
When I went over to see her last night, we realized that this might be the last week we have to wish her well on her journey to the Eternal Kingdom of Jesus Christ. We thought that you might want one more time to pray for her, speak to her, sing to her, fellowship with her, and hold her hand while life remains in her.
Ms. Joni (my mother) has graciously allowed her home to be open today from 6:30-7:30 PM for anyone who wants to stop by and spend some time with them. She still has some physical responses but spends most of her time sleeping peacefully. We would love to welcome you to share your favorite memory, something you learned from her, and encourage her one more time.
We do not often have the gift of knowing that a fellow traveler will be embarking to glory within days. It is a precious gift, and though it might be last-minute planning, we want to share this gift of seeing her one more time before she joins that great cloud of witnesses who have gone before.
You may direct any questions to Joni Saul at 503-318-1122. Blessings.
